Terms & Conditions

Effective July 15, 2026

These terms apply to services provided by Mechanical Temp LLC, a licensed HVAC and mechanical contractor (Michigan Mechanical License #7117025) located at 23093 Telegraph Rd, Southfield, MI 48033. By requesting service from us, you agree to these terms.

Text messaging terms

Consent

By providing your phone number when you request service — by calling us, submitting our website service request form, or contacting us through Google Local Services Ads — you consent to receive text messages from Mechanical Temp about your service. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

What we send

Text messages relate to the service you requested and may include appointment confirmations and reminders, technician arrival notifications, quotes and pricing, part order status, payment links, and follow-up about completed work. We do not send promotional or marketing text messages.

Opting out

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further texts. Reply START to resubscribe. Opting out of texts does not cancel your appointment — call us at 313-282-4758 to reschedule or cancel.

Carriers

Supported carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to your carrier's network and your device.

Service and scheduling

• Appointment windows are estimates. Emergency calls, weather, and job conditions can shift arrival times. We will notify you if your window changes.
• Someone 18 or older must be present and able to provide access to the equipment.
• If we arrive and cannot access the equipment, or no one is present, a trip charge may apply.

Diagnostic fee

A diagnostic fee applies to service calls and covers the technician's time to identify the problem. If you approve the repair, the diagnostic fee is credited toward the repair cost. The current fee is disclosed when you book.

Estimates and approval

• Estimates are based on the condition observed at the time of diagnosis and are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
• If additional problems are found once work begins, we will stop and contact you before performing work beyond what you approved.
• Parts pricing may change based on supplier availability. We will notify you before ordering if a price has changed materially.

Payment

• Payment is due upon completion unless other terms are agreed in writing.
• We accept cash, check, and card. Card payments are handled by our payment processor.
• Returned checks are subject to a fee.
• Past due balances may be subject to a service charge as permitted by Michigan law.

Warranty

• Labor: our workmanship is warranted for 30 days from completion unless a longer term is stated in writing on your invoice.
• Parts and equipment: covered by the manufacturer's warranty. We will assist with manufacturer warranty claims; terms and duration are set by the manufacturer.
• Warranty does not cover damage from misuse, neglect, lack of maintenance, power problems, water damage, pests, or work performed by others.
• Warranty is void on unpaid invoices.

Cancellation

Call 313-282-4758 as early as possible to cancel or reschedule. Special-order parts may be non-returnable once ordered, and you may be responsible for their cost.

Access and site conditions

You are responsible for providing safe access to the equipment. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, code violations, or damage caused by conditions we did not create, including but not limited to failed components elsewhere in the system, improper prior installation, or concealed conditions not reasonably discoverable.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Michigan law, our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost business or spoilage, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Oakland County, Michigan.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will revise the effective date above. The terms in effect at the time you request service apply to that service.
